Daylesford
Is a mineral water spa town and tourist destination on the fringe of the Great Dividing Range. Forested and green countryside. Many restaurants and art galleries. An alternative lifestyle culture. About one hundred and ten kilometres north-west of Melbourne. Population of under three thousand.
The Daylesford Motorfest (Show & Shine) is usually held in February. The 2024 event cancelled for financial reasons. Returning in 2025. The Motorfest is held on the local Australian Rules Football oval. Live music performed by a four piece band. Many stalls and cars on display.
