Silo Art Trail Victoria
Rupanyup is a small town in Victoria.
Population of about five hundred. The Silo Art Trail follows through the town. The town has a few interesting rustic style statues. One is of a man patting his trusty dog next to a small seat are outside of the modern local supermarket. Another is of a woman in period costume outside of an early period store in the centre divide of the main street. Rupanyup has it's fair share of closed retail buildings.
The name Rupanyup is an Aboriginal word meaning 'branch hanging over water'.
Minyip
Is a small town in the Wimmera region of Victoria, along the Silo Art Trail and is north west of Melbourne some 320 kilometres. Population of about five hundred. The name "Minyip" is an Aboriginal word meant for "ashes" or "camping place". Minyip is known as the "Heart of the Wheat Belt"
Warracknabeal
Is a wheatbelt town in Victoria. On the banks of the Yarriambiack Creek. The Warracknabeal area has a population of less than three thousand.
There is a roundabout in the main street called Federation Place with a mob of six life size sheep statues on a raised brick platform. Another roundabout has a sheep dog on top of full wheat bags. The two storey hotels in town have wide covered veranda's. Counter meals may be ordered.
The town has a few red brick period buildings. Post Office and Town Hall.

Driving from Rupanyup, to Minyip and onto Warracknabeal is eighty km. There is a lot to see driving the Wimmera Mallee Silo Art Trail.
