FORD MUSTANG GT ROAD MISHAPS
FORD Mustang GT
Six years driving mustang GT.
My opinion, and for what it's worth. A motor vehicle is a collection of sheet metal, nuts, bolts and fluids. However, a mustang GT is a very fine collection of sheet metal, nuts, bolts and fluids.
Eighty thousand km mileage driven in over six years.
All enjoyable but not taken for granted. Also, unfortunately four and a half years of proving driving ability to the relevant government licencing authority via specialist medical documentation and advice.

Although most road users are ok. All roads have to be shared with annoying incompetent drivers and boy racers.
People such as 'Elderly Ken' and similar driver's with unreported chronic conditions. Age is not the issue. Vehicle usage competency is.
See photo's below with mustang mishaps.
The Mustang GT has been driven in the baking hot dry and rainy cold weather. On ordinary roads, unsealed roads and four sessions of limited racetrack.
No faults in vehicle. No squeaks or rattles. No leaks or electrical gremlins. No wildlife incidents. A few stone chips on paintwork which is still good. Replacement of a battery at five years. Pirelli P Zero tyres. Replaced with same when required. Car retains precise steering and suspension like new. No noticeable wear on manual clutch. Smooth gear throw action.
Always draws positive attention.
Still very much an exciting car to drive.
Great for a day or weekend drive
One of the most breathtaking drives you can embark on in Victoria is along the Great Ocean Road. This iconic route offers spectacular views of the rugged coastline, pristine beaches, and lush rainforests. While the road is popular with tourists, opting for a weekday drive can enhance your experience by avoiding the crowds and allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the natural beauty that surrounds you.
To make the most of your journey, consider driving along the Great Ocean Road in both directions. This way, you can appreciate the stunning landscapes from different perspectives and uncover hidden gems along the way.
A perfect starting or ending point for your road trip is the charming town of Port Campbell. This quaint coastal town exudes a laid-back vibe and serves as an ideal base for exploring the nearby attractions.
Just a short ten-minute drive from Port Campbell lies the world-famous Twelve Apostles. These magnificent limestone stacks rising from the Southern Ocean are a must-see sight along the Great Ocean Road, offering a glimpse into the forces of nature that have sculpted this remarkable coastline over millions of years.
